This post will address some troubleshooting that we have found on post sales.

Details of Nameservers, Cpanel and WHM (for Reseller account) IP address and its ports.

We have just found out that some customers did not receive the details of their Cpanel hosting or did not read the details of their Cpanel Hosting fully which make them unclear about a lot of things to do. So, make sure you read the email fully that has been sent to you after purchase with the subject of New Account Information. Moreover, check your SPAM box if the E-mail did not arrive on your E-mail inbox.

Some important information pointed out on the E-mail are:

Login Details

Username: username
Password: password

Control Panel URL: http://5.189.158.139:2082/
Once your domain has propogated, you may also use http://www.yourdomainname.tld:2082/

For Reseller Account, to create hosting plans and new users please visit Web Hosting Manager (WHM) from your CPanel dashboard by clicking the WHM module or visit this IP address:

WHM: http://5.189.158.139:2086/

Server Information

Server Name: Fire Ball
Server IP: 5.189.158.139

If you are using an existing domain with your new hosting account, you will need to update the nameservers to point to the nameservers listed below.

Nameserver 1: ns1.unlimited-hosting.club (5.189.158.139)
Nameserver 2: ns2.unlimited-hosting.club (5.189.158.139)

Uploading Your Website

Temporarily you may use one of the addresses given below to manage your web site:

Temporary FTP Hostname:5.189.158.139
Temporary Webpage URL: http://5.189.158.139/~username/

And once your domain has propagated you may use the details below:

FTP Hostname: yourdomainname.tld
Webpage URL: http://www.yourdomainname.tld

Email Settings

For email accounts that you setup, you should use the following connection details in your email program:

POP3 Host Address: mail.yourdomainname.tld
SMTP Host Address: mail.yourdomainname.tld
Username: The email address you are checking email for
Password: As specified in your control panel

I cannot access my website or even your server – is our server down?

We have found that some customers cannot access our servers. To solve this problem, make sure you have an active internet connection. Then, visit this website http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ to check if there is something wrong with our server, for example, the server probably went down. If the response is

It’s just you. http://yourdomain.tld is up.

It means that our server has no problem and the problem is only happen to you. This can also mean that your IP address has been blocked by our server but you still can access our server by using proxy. During that time, ask One Dollar Hosting through E-mail to white list your IP address. To check your IP address please visit this website http://www.myipaddress.com/ and send the detail of your IP address to our support by E-mail:

admin@one-dollar-hosting.com
